Working from within the Technology & Projects team, you will be working across several business units which includes: Consumer Credit, Property, Savings, Shared Services (Finance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, HR).

The role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the business unit understands what technology capabilities it requires, and these are delivered in an effective, efficient and agreed way. 

You will ideally have come from a software engineering background, having augmented your delivery experience with project management and business analysis skills to allow you to act as an effective bridge between software engineers and business stakeholders. 

Skills Requirement:

      A good understand of Retail Finance including Point of Sale products and systems within the financial services environment 

      Have previous experience working as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst / Product Manager in the financial service sector

      Experience in partnering with design teams, technical teams, test teams and business owners to identify solutions and resolutions to problems.

      Definition and evaluation of bid work, supporting business case evaluation and inputting into RFPs.

      In depth understanding of delivery methodologies for example, but not limited to Scrum, Waterfall, Agile.

      Good problem-solving skills and ability to deliver High standards in terms of Requirement analysis, attention to detail, time, cost and quality 

      Be capable of Improving systems by studying current practices; designing modifications and Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures 

      Ability to work with business users and engineers to resolve day to day BAU issues which might involve liaising with third party software providers to perform root cause analysis and proposing a path to resolution to issues reported 

      Payments knowledge i.e. understanding of payments systems, the schemes they run and practical back-offices and front-end (digital) implementations (BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, Direct Debits, Cards, Faster Payments or SWIFT) 

      Have technical experience across Software engineering and/or Data engineering, and MI and data analysis.
